For all the Goth fans and other haunting industrial music lovers, presenting this new gothic-darkwave-industrial album “The Entity” from the artist “My Own Sorrow”. Patrik is a relatively new solo artist from Sweden, an electronic solo act that formed in late 2013. His second album ‘Infernal Odyssey’ was released a few months ago and this is his third album, which is a 2016 release. The band’s name was inspired by 19th century love for melancholy and horror authors such as Edgar Allan Poe or HP Lovecraft.

Avantgarde Music

Fifth to Infinity is a band formed back in 1997 by Martin Mendez, Martin Lopez and Nader Jonas Reslan in Sweden, after the disbandment of the black metal gang Vinterkrig. Officially their first album was planned to be released in 2000, but due to some problems and delays it went out a year later. As time passed and not far from then, the band suffered a split-up and went under the curtain, only to be revived in 2007 by Nader. In the new formation of Fifth to Infinity, Nader recruited Martin Lopez in 2008, later replaced.

Introducing the latest work “Fornjot” from Mammoth Storm, which is a Doom/Storm Metal band from Sweden and it was founded in December 2012. They can also be looked up under the genres Doom, Stoner and Drone metal. The band members are: Daniel Arvidsson (Bass, Vocals), Christer Ström (Guitars), Emil Ahlman (Drums, Organ). This is their third album, since their debut “Demo” which had bagged in some pretty good ratings. I expect a rough journey into the Mammoth Storm’s “Fornjot” now.

interview-The Livelong June

We have the privilege to introduce one totally fresh group from Sweden that just released their first single and video clip. Their sound varies from electro to indie to synth pop, although they really don't want to categorize their music. Watch out for their new releases, in what we suspect could be one of the next big things.

Psalm
Label:
Seja Records

Well, sometimes pleasant surprises do happen, for sure! And,luckily, such is the case here:Fatal Casualties are a Swedish duo, moving along the lines of ebm and electro music,in general.Do not let these tags deceit you,though-the sounds that can be found on "Psalm" have more in common with the early, original ebm scene-Front 242,in particular,or even Klinik would be good reference points. What makes this band stand apart though,is the fact that they can compose great songs.

Probably the biggest Synth-pop/ EBM band in the world, Covenant, need no further introduction. Joakim Montelius, one of the founding members of the Swedish band gives subexistance a hearty interview, revealing among others their forthcoming show on the 25th of May at Gagrin 205! Enjoy…

Deathstars

After three years it's finally here, the long awaited follow-up album to the massively successful “Termination Bliss”, and it's a bombraid of depression, death, sex and rock. ”Night Electric Night” is tough and black, yet seductive and passionated in its expression of the city's destructive nightside.Skinny answers some questions for subexistance.
