Johnny Negri

Johnny Negri is a self-taught artist from Athens, Greece.He’s working on various art forms like illustration, poster design, comics, sketching, tattoo design and more.

He started exposing his self to public in 2006 through his own comic zine (“Negro”). So far, he has done various works for bands, fanzines, concerts, festivals and other occasions, mainly for the diy/underground scene in Greece. He’s influenced by many cultures like punk, goth, sci-fi, dada, surrealism and more. In 2010, he self-publishes a new fanzine “Negligent Romantix” which contains  comics,  stories, illustrations and collage, along with other artists’ contributions.Johnny’s music preferences cover a wide field as it’s obvious from the bands he’s collaborating with. He’ s also djing along with friends at some Athens bars, playing post-punk, garage, darkwave, minimal synth and similar stuff…You may check his artwork at:
