Alcest - Les Voyages de l' Âme

Artist:
Alcest
Release:
Les Voyages de l' Âme
Label:
Prophecy Productions

"Les voyages de l'âme" ("The Journeys of the Soul") is Alcest's third album and contains the quintessence of the group's creative work to date. This is what ‘Prophecy Records’ states about this very album and they are indeed accordingly right. Barely two years after the amazing ‘’Écailles de Lune ‘’ which gained a lot of unfair critisim due to it’s structure, Alcest are back with a record of the year nominee even though we’re not even half way through the first month on 2012.

Alchera - Era

Artist:
Alchera
Release:
Era
Label:
Twilight

"Era" instantly begins with hammering blast-beats and a collection of riffs:make no mistake though,as Alchera might belong to the extreme side of the metal fence, hence their compositions are centered around a grand sense of melody.I could honestly say that they could be regarded as a melodic black/death metal unit, mostly influenced by the famous swedish scene, naturally.Their vocals range between the two idioms:heavy, deep, deathlike growls, topped with some higher pitched screams.

Italian black/thrash metal veterans NECRODEATH are returning shortly after their previous effort which came out this past May with "Idiosyncrasy", which will be released in October via Scarlet Records. Oblivion

Rising Records

“Popol Vuh”  is a corpus of mytho-historical narratives of the Post Classic Quiché kingdom in Guatemala's western highlands. The title translates as "Book of the Community," "Book of Counsel", or more literally as "Book of the People”.  “Popol Vuh”'s prominent features are its creation myth, its epic tales of the Hero Twins and its genealogies. The myth begins with the exploits of anthropomorphic ancestors and concludes with a new genealogy, perhaps as an assertion of divine right rule.
