Conspiración Urbana

 Conspiración Urbana is a Mexican band formed in January of 2008 with members from Jiquilpan and Sahuayo Michoacán, starting with the idea of make a band with several artistic elements, trying with sounds unexplored in this region, even in the country.

You were formed back at 2008.The idea was to mix musical elements  a fusion of Rock, Alternative, Industrial, Electronic and Metal. Why all this music styles you want to make something unique?
Because we wanted to make something different from the most of the bands of our country that are more interested in rock pop, happy, punk, metalcore and something like that.
Tell me more details about your history?
Well we all the members have been friends for may years and casually we had the same ideas about the music, we liked the same bands, we tried to make this music in different bands with no success so finaly we ended up together, and from that moment the things came more easy.
Are you working on a new album or something?
Yes, right now we are promotin a 4 song demo that you can hear in our myspace but actually we are working on our first EP it will have 7 songs, and it will be called "Discordia", and in a near future the next step will be an LP we don't know how many songs will be in it but surely we weil be promoting it on our myspace and in our shows.
What are the comments you get from the fans when they listen to your music?
Fortunately we get so many positive comments everydays and they congratulate us for our work as musicians, almost always we got succes on our shows and de are really thankfull with all thos people who see us in our shows.
Tell me about your live shows?What is the feeling on the stage?
Our shows regularly tends to change the mood as the show is on the way, we got very euforic moments, the we slow down a little, and again more power and that's how it is, a mixure of intense feelings.
Where the inspiration comes from?
Basically we got inspiration from life and real things, real life stories, and also we got inspiration from books such as Ann Rise, Marques de Sade and more.
The scene in Mexiko is growing. Are there any local bands that you admire?
Yes, we have here in Mexico many good bands some of them are our friends and we admire and respect other ones, some of this bands are: Arcadia Libre, Logan, Thell Barrio, Here Comes The Kraken, Hocico, and more.
What are your influences?
All of us have so many influences but to mention some of the we can say that our high influences can be: Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Deftones, Static-x, Dir En Grey, Deathstars, Marilyn Manson, The Birthday Massacre, etc.
Tell me how difficult is to find a contract with a record label?
At least for a rock band is really hard unless you have a rock pop band, the way for most of the rock bands to work is beign independent, look for shows and sell our own merchandise, that's how the bands keep on rocking, it's not that bad, there are some independent shows that sometimes are really really huge.
About your future plans?
Future plans? well we want to finalize our LP and promoting it, make some videos still looking for shows and still rocking overall, that's what is all about!
