Vanson the man behind the industrial project from Prague,called Warsickle gives an interview to subexistance.

Hello Vanson. How would you like to introduce Warsickle  to those who have not heard of you before?
Hello. Warsickle is playing Cold Laboratory Electronic, in general we can speak about EBM/Industrial music.

How would you describe your musical sound?
Maybe it has something to do with EBM sound of the 90s. But I think that the best thing to describe the sound is going to visit myspace.com/warsickle and to listen some songs! You are the only man behind this project.How difficult is this?
It is quite a bit difficult, but it is how it is. You have absolute creative freedom, but on the other side you have to do everything by yourself.

Which are the main themes of your songs?
There are two main themes in Warsickle lyrics. The first is obscurity, fetish, bondage, sadism and other sexual practises, sociopathy, social problems, decay of society. The second Warsickle´s theme is about the extraterrestrials, ufos, reptilians, illuminates, nwo, manipulation, chemtrails, apocalypse, alien bases on our Earth and Moon, alien bases in our Solar System and finally it is about the end of this age for which we can use the date 21.12.2012 symbolically ( ! ) and related changes which will happend on our Planet, in our Minds and generaly the Changes which will affects the whole Mankind.

Lets talk about your debut "MMXII".How happy are yourself with the result,does it come up to your expectations?
I think that I can say that Im satisfied with the „MMXII“ work.

Are there certain songs on the album you want to mention or tell something about?
I see the „MMXII“ album as a complex work so I can hardly mention some special song.

Are you pleased by the reviews so far?
Yes, but actually there is still only one review on the new album because of the Czech Post Criminality. These fucking bastards steal 90% of promo cds I have sent into world!!!

Do you feel you are gaining recognition amongst industrial music fans? 
Well I think that modesty is my cup of tea and in this case I can commit oneself to admit some feelings you are talking about….:)

How important is the internet for you?
Internet is a good thing for „Public Releation“, but actually many people is possessed by internet with all the social networks and other stuff like that. Internet is a good servant, but a bad master. 

What are some bands or musical styles that have influenced your music?
I can not judge….
I like many musical styles and many bands. I like Plasma Pool, Depeche Mode, Adult, Kaviar Kavalier, Ulver, Suicide Commando, Darkthrone, Laibach, Bethlehem, Hocico, Der Blutharsch, Rhesus Factor, Elli Riehl, Ane Arch, Derniere Volonté, Rabia Sorda, Skinny Puppy, Laether Strip, Enslaved and many many others!

What are some of your interests outside of music?
Except Music I love Art, History and Nature. I like reading books, visiting Museums and Galleries, traveling through forests. Relaxing among ancient ruins of forgotten celtic and slavonic fortresses, cairns and woods. I like to take photos, drinking wine and a lot of obscure things like extraterrestrials, fetish, nwo, bondage………

Do you have any live experience?
My first „more man“ band called Torzo. We started to play 5 years ago. I was playing guitar there and the first live show was probably somewhere in 2005 or 2006. My first live show was realy quite strange ( laughing ). We have disbanded before this fucking spring was comming after our vocalists suicide. Actually I play live with Warsickle, Krytoboys ( bandzone.cz/krytoboys ) and Black Hole 23 ( bandzone.cz/thetrueevil ). Krytoboys is a kind of masked electronic ebm industrial metal music where I play guitarr and do some other things. Black Hole 23 is funny Black Metal with keys and violins where I do some vocals. This year Ive done for about 20 live gigs till now. This year is definitely a difficult one for me…

What is music for you?
Music is the main contens of my life. Rehearsal  Room, Concerts, Studio Recordings and new songs compositions is the circle Im actually living in. Music for me is the divine implement for cleaning my mind and to express my feelings, moods, thoughts and of course my Attitudes. And finally…Music is Fun!
