Incest in Heaven - Misbegotten - demo
It took nearly two years of intense preparation for Incest in Heaven to uncover ‘Misboggoten’ and one can say it was worth the sweat and the tears as Incest in Heaven’s first ever demo sounds as if it’s their fist major release.
What we have here are four compositions of high quality not in terms of production (which is probalby one of the few thing that Incest in Heaven need to work on, but it doesn’t matter as we’re talking about a demo here and the actual sound is not half bad) but in terms of musicianship and creativity. The four tracks that are included in this demo are quite abuntant in intricate and chaotic passages, full of complex guitar work and outstanding drumming, the vocals are supplement to the music and neatly performed and the bass is always spottable giving its mark to the music as well, with very few parts repeated in each song proving that the band is not depending on catchy, memorable choruses in order to achieve their aim, although melodical parts and guitar solos do exist most notably on ‘Putrid Bacchus’ or ‘Gongregation of the Faceless’. Incest in Heaven are playing Black/Death metal in their own way, focusing on quiet a variety of musical directions whether it is full speed thrash riffage to slower Morbid Angel-esqe parts but without overlooking the importance of melody all blended nicely with the progressive element that is particularly present in all the songs .
We’re definitely looking forward to their first major release as this band idefinately not to be misbeggoten.
