Vril - Violet Carson

   The Spanish band called VRIL begun their music journey in early 2007. At the beginning the members were Alaya and Varick, and then Midian joined the group with her fabulous vocals and lyrics.  Violet Carson contains eleven tracks and although they are from Spain the lyrics are written in English, one song in Italian and one in Spanish. It is an exceptional work in which is obvious their influences like Kraftwerk, soft cell, Depeche mode, cabaret Voltaire and many more, and also their gothic character. The gothic element appears in their lyrics but also in the music, even if, in enough songs are distinguished electro, synth bits. Their ethereal vocals travel you into a journey through their lyrics which refers to fantasy, melancholy, love and death.
