Whispers In The Shadow - The Eternal Arcane

Whispers In The Shadow is a gothic rock band from Vienna who named  by a story from H.P.Lovecraft: The Whisperer in the Dark.

An 80's inspired band, with a melodic bass guitar as well as thunderous drums combined with  emotional  gothic and dynamic vocals. Their lyrics become from authors like Philip K. Dick or H.P. Lovecraft, also found there own identity, Strongly influenced by occult writers such as Austin Osman Spare, Aleister Crowley or Kenneth Grant. Their music among with the lyrics creates different images at the head of the listeners. The ‘Eternal Arcane’ is an album that released  at 2010 and represents all the characteristics of the band’s music . From one hand the furious guitars and from the other hand sad guitars meet booming bass sounds, drums and psychedelic keyboards all of course with the melodic voice of Ashley Dayour can make the listeners travel into their world. The album contains twelve songs including a video clip of the song ‘Bood, ,Sweat And Tears’ also a great booklet with the lyrics which consists by an incredible art work.
